It may not seem like it, but they are moonboots in every sense of the word, so walking in them is like walking in snow moonboots, when you lift your foot to take a step the sole comes off the footbed. For some shoes I have size 41, for others size 42; basically, I'm a size 41 and a half, but I took size 41 and I think it was better. At first, the right one seemed too perfect; maybe an extra half a centimeter would have been better, but as I walked, the sponge inside expanded a little, so now it's perfect. If you take a size that's too large for the type of walking you do, you risk them slipping off or making walking even more awkward. Of course, I recommend them for winter, but in Milan I also wore them last week on a day with a bit of drizzle. They are a bit flashy; perhaps black or white ones are less flashy.
