Very well built, all metal! It's a great amplifier and DAC; I use it as a DAC with the rear auxiliary output for my active speakers and as an amplifier for my headphones on the balanced 4.4 output! With one of these in your setup, you won't need to upgrade anytime soon! No background noise perception!
It arrived very quickly and the equipment has a very good build quality. It has greatly improved the sound quality and is convenient to position next to the keyboard for quick adjustments. The only downside would be not being able to directly adjust the volume through the computer.
Bought this to replace my diy class a headphone amp with two opa2134 as gain stage and irf610 as current buffer, the diy amp was more than enough to drive the hifiman sundara but it started to have some noise and malfunction when i tried to improve the circuitry and it cooked one of my dynamic headphones in the process. So, i didnt want this to happen to my sundara and opted for a safer option. The fosi sk02, on the 3. 5mm output and when connected on pc it has enough power to drive the sundara but i wanted to try the 4. 4mm balanced output so i bought the balanced cable from openheart and the 4. 4mm indeed made the sundara punchier, cleaner and i felt more seperation. For sure it is not as powerful as my diy amp was but it sounds cleaner and it is more convenient and safer to use. I tried foobar for dsd files and it delivers. The dsd indicator lit up when playing the dsd files. It is my first dac, so i cannot compare it to other dacs but i'm satisfied with it.

There will be nothing better than this DAC for R$400. Cheaper than the $90 on the official website. It arrived in 3 days. It's outputting 384kHz via USB-C from my MacBook Air M4. I'm using the 3.5mm AUX output to RCA on JBL Professional active speakers (104-bt). Soon I want to use the balanced output to play on the active speakers.
I didn’t expect much at first, thinking this would just be a decent headphone amp, but i’m genuinely impressed. The build quality surprised me — it feels solid, has more weight than expected, and doesn’t slide around when adjusting the volume. The knob itself is smooth and satisfying to use, and the orange accent gives it a premium touch. One feature i didn’t realize it had is the automatic switch back to speakers when powered off, which turned out to be really convenient. Small details like that make the overall experience better than i anticipated. I bought it straight from fosi on aliexpress, and shipping was smooth — it arrived well-packed and on time. Overall, i’m really glad i picked this up.

A decent DAC/amplifier for headphones. Through output 4.4, it handles Sennheiser HD650 headphones well. Very sensitive to USB cables, tried many ready-made "branded Chinese" cables - terrible (only for charging devices). I made my own USB - Type C based on a Siltech cable (silver-plated copper wires) - the sound quality is excellent. Additionally: several years ago, Douk Audio released a similar DAC/amplifier (now discontinued) that has a USB-B input from a computer and coaxial/3.5mm headphone outputs. There are differences, there is no volume control and balanced 4.4, but inside one could experiment with the audio amplifier by replacing it and selecting for oneself. In any case, Fosi SK02 is a recommended product for purchase.
Highly recommended for desktop Pi beginners! Clean without any frills, strong output, and good build quality. The knob feels nice too. Pros? Cons? If you connect speakers to the aux output terminal and headphones at the same time, it outputs from both places simultaneously. It's a bit disappointing that there's no aux selection mode.

The depth of the scene was immediately enhanced. I bought a DAC for a future headphone purchase. For now, I'm testing the Steelseries Flux (on-ear) headphones that have been available since 2013. They immediately became louder, and one composition can sound very different when listened to. I compared everything with the standard sound on the motherboard. According to the standard of the frequency response of my Flux speakers, which have a downward slope, the lows have now become even more distinct, i.e. They didn't disappear anywhere, but the middle and top parts appeared. I recommend this DAC to those, like me, who have not purchased special audio equipment and have been content with the standard for decades. Of course, there are more serious models, but this is not bad at all for a start. 10/10 for its price and quality.
